Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
This post will be short and sweet because I think as a believer, I like to make things really big and really complicated.
Time management has been on my heart A LOT recently. I am a volunteer for Breakaway Ministries (check out their podcasts) and at the beginning of this semester, they challenged us to block out our days so we had a visual representation of where our hours were spent and how much open time we waste during the day. I DISCOVERED 42 EXTRA HOURS IN MY WEEK!!! (WHAT?!) I suddenly felt convicted. What was I doing in all that time? I thought I was always SO BUSY!!
There ya have it… “I am so busy.” The sentence that I felt was defining my college career. Why is this four-word sentence said so often throughout my week? Am I too busy to share the gospel, build relationships, or to focus on my relationship with Christ?
And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17
I have been praying that the Lord will help me use my free time to invest in others, be more open to share His truth, spend more quality time with Him, and find time to rest. I would hate to be caught too busy to glorify Him.
Once again, my mom was correct when she told me that my body needs rest.
Thanks, mom you’re the real MVP,
